Sold the car over 6 months ago. My old 420 badge are not for over priced cars such as the 'real' E55 as you call it.

This thread is a crack up! It is true that only a "Poser" would do such a thing, as long as they weren't intending to sell it that way to make a quick buck, no one gets hurt.

Tell us Benz, why did you do it? Did you get it from your kid or he from you?

I like the stealth rebadging where a true E55 wears E430 or E500 tags.

BTW, most people; even car people don't even know wtf an E55 is.

I recently test drove a Z06 Vette, and ran it through the gears hard and strong; after the drive, the sales man asked me "what car do you drive." I told him an E55 and got a blank stare.

Like I said...Sold the car over 6 months ago. If you wanna know why I did it, you will need to read more in to detail before asking a stupid question that has already been answered.

You think this is cracking you up? It's killing me reading this thing still talked about. Keeps the fame on me. Keep talking about me, only makes you look worse and me feel better.

Like anyone cares enough about your cause enough to research this? BTW the purpose of a forum is to help and inform other users. A simple question was asked. Your snotty reply helps no one.

That's the best view I've seen of the new Bangle design. Further crushed into a cube would be even better.

lol dat car is ugly compared to the last body style..

people who rebadge their cars to something it is not are trying to perpetrate. I drive a honda and wouldnt even do that. LOL If I had a benz I would probably shave the badges.

no badges = win. I didnt think anyone who had enough money for a mercedes would do something like that. Aren't you all respectable non-ricer people? I am trying to get away from the loser rice..

I didnt say RICH specifically. But people who drive them typically do have more money then other people. Why do you think the average joe doesnt have one? I went to SEMA IAS YESTERDAY, www.semaias.com and no I didnt see any riced out Mercedes or BMW's. They were actually the most cleanest looking rides in the entire show. lol Im watching mtv this very moment, unfortunatly noone on the real world drives a benz.. HAHA why am I watching the real world?

I dunno...I would say the person with issues here...
...is the one who tried to present his car as something it wasn't.
Perpetrating a fraud is certainly an issue in my book....

I'm thinking of putting E200 badges on my E55, I've already removed the V8 Kompressor badges from the front guards. Would this be fraud?

Someone doesn't know what fraud means, but it damn sure isn't me:
A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain.
A piece of trickery; a trick.

One that defrauds; a cheat.
One who assumes a false pose; an impostor.

Definition of fraud:

I would say that it is trickery to try to pass your car off as something it is not. And I would say that in so doing, you were assuming a false pose.

Furthermore, the issue is not *debadging*; it is *REBADGING*. Your signature says, and you have admitted, that you *REBADGED* your E420 with E55 badges. Here is your sig:

SOLD SOLD SOLD
1997 E420 Benz

Mods
2002 complete E55 AMG Pace Car Interior
2002 Side Blinking Mirrors
E55 AMG Floor Mats
17" Monoblock Wheels
Grill with the emblem
AMG Flat Hood Emblem
E55 AMG Badging
Chrome Calipers

Kinda sorta a bit of difference there, dontcha think? Maybe you should learn the difference before you start to spew false accusations and lies which are easily disproven.
