Trying to install rear K-mac, something went wrong

My air spring is pushing everything outward. The Jack stand under the A-arm tipped with it. How do I get the pressure out of this thing! I've got a floor jack under the A-arm but can't jack it in the direction I need it to go. I may have already ruined my air spring extending it at this screwy angle. Any help please.

If you don't have Star, you will have to "trick" it with the sensor. I'm sure there are detailed instructions somewhere on here.

I got it done. Seems to be okay. Couldn't get the rear sensor to drop, the front is easy to trick . I ended up just pulling it back against the corner of the garage and bracing the car to keep from pulling it off the stands. I'd make a DIY but I'm pretty sure this how NOT to do it. I did the second one with the wheel holding it steady and a hand winch to pull it into place

I'm actually quite impressed with the engineering of this system, if this won't hold I don't know what would. I only made one small change. I don't know if it will make much difference but I wanted a little more bite into the aluminum arm so I put in a toothed piece of Chevy push rod.(best steel I had on hand)

Time for some new tires soon too! Let us know if the inside wear truly is less with the KMAC set up!

Do tell! Mine is slapping around and may eventually cause me to launch yet another quest for pain...

Be sure to pay attention to SirBoostALot here. He's a brilliant scientist with these motors and has built a mega-motor for his own CLS....and E55...and ....

Oh I do! I read every day and even take notes.

I'll get some pictures up later when my wife gets up. I don't have much patience for this computer stuff.
