P2203 code - car going into limp mode? anybody has experience with this

I looked up the code P2203, my dealer caught it, google threw a few topics about it, apparently it is triggered by a faulty rpm sensor, which causes the car to go limp, no power, no boost, no gear changes.

I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this code?

I think so, it is about an rpm sensor.

The car goes into a sort of protection mode, I thought it was the SC, but my dealer says no, its either that sensor, or my gearbox or my tranny

2203 or 220B?

220B - The speed of Y3/6n2 or Y3/6n3 is too high.

It is referring to the speed sensors or rpm sensors as your dealer may call it.

If you repair this yourself, please POST PICS! I think you might have to replace the entire unit, but if you can simply repair the speed sensors COOL!

Hmm.. I replaced my conductor plate before, It's pretty simple. But in the end I needed a new transmission anyway.

Now that you said if you cycle key it works again, it's conductor plate, buy that part and get it installed but don't do a trans flush, just make him do a refill of the fluid
