My favorite time of year ... COLD WEATHER FAST APPROACHING!

Gotta love the evenings nowadays for us Northern folks ... low 50s after 8 p.m., as if you added another blower pulley to the car or another mod...gotta love that 'hidden' power underneath all that heatsoak that's unleashed once the weather cools.

Who else has an ear-to-ear grin on their face nowadays? I love the Fall/Winter months (less the snow and blizzards)!

I'm about to take her for a spin ... leave my 3 year old son and 1 month old son with my wife to drive her crazy while I do that ...

SAFE DRIVING OVER THE COLDER MONTHS, FOLKS!

I have only owned my E55 for the summer months. Here its been 100+ daily and high 80's at night. I can spin in second gear quite easily.

I truly can't wait for the 50* days. That'll be fun! Just have to warm the tires leaving the neighborhood!

It'll feel like a whole different animal ... I'm assuming you're in one of those humid Southern states?

We get below freezing up here (MD), so just imagine our fun!

100% humidity on a regular basis here in atlanta. It rains 16 days out of the month. It is fun getting the back end out though.

So happy on these 50 - 60 degree nights in colorado. Altitude takes a bit out of it, but still awesome performance!

+100000

It's a true monster at anything below 60. In the low 50's there's only a couple cars on the road that I would hesitate to run against. It just pulls and pulls with no end. Extra long freeway on ramps are just about the only place in the city with these weather conditions.

+1 on a safe cold weather season for everyone!

If it's your first winter with mods watch afr with those long 3 4 gear pulls. Don't want to hurt the motor. Some guys here don't even beat on them sub 40 deg . Wide band is cheap ins.

50s all week this week when heading out to work. Sure was nice to hear that deep sound and engine breathing not tongue sticking out and lapping like a dog this past summer.

It's not my first modded winter (personally) but I am sure it is for others.

I think I monitor AFR more in the winter than the summer months

Hell yes!

I love early morning cruises and evening (after the sun goes down) cruises. The car feels much happier with the cooler weather.

It's time for the big modded boys to set some 1/4 mile records in Oct/Nov with the high 40s/low 50s weather.
