you can purchase them online, ebay have good prices too. while you are at it, take a good look at your plug wires and make sure no heat damage and everything is in good order. check the valve covers corners looking for that slow oil leak that our covers are known for and do that maintenance while your are at it and use sealant when replacing to avoid that in the future. replace air filters if not done for sometime and hope you will see/feel some difference!

you know about the wires, oem would not be bad. no one has found any problems with them and they last a very long time. up to 100,000 miles and in some cases, people have run them longer too. but what i have done is use some dielectric grease inside the boot that goes over the actual spark plug tip on all my wires. keeps water out and make for a good "seal" and conductor. in the diy, that member used evosport plugs and they looked quite well too.

NEVER use any sealant (RTVs, etc) at any Mercedes Valve Cover Gaskets for "dressing". Do that with the american cars, fine. But not on Mercedes - please.
Its a mess and can clog oil-lines back from the heads. Seen that too often to not care about such statements...
The valvecover gaskets are pennies on the dollar from Elring, etc in the aftermarket (OEMs).
