So I bit and ordered. Put it on my AMEX so I will dispute the price with a screenshot to get it for the $35 price.

The way the price changed kinda pissed me off but it's still a good deal for a nice jacket so I bought it anyway.
I sent parts.com a message to see what they say, maybe they will refund the difference.

That's the go! Bit weird how the price jumps though - they are probably doing themselves out of a lot of business. No doubt a lot of people would be p1553d off and change their mind at the checkout even though it's still a good deal.

Maybe??? Just do like I stated above. Can be any card but AMEX is just more cardholder friendly and will more often side with a cardholder than a business on issues esp like this.

i placed an email response to parts.com bringing it to their attention incase it was a glitch or something. i wanted to order that jacket and the one for woman too. that one is really cheap! like $6!! unreal. thanks to the OP for this heads up but i am in agreement: its still a great deal but just not right how they have one price, "online price" and then goes up 2-3x at checkout. i will inform you all what parts.com have to say and what they did for me if anything. keeping my fingers crossed here!

Thanks for emailing them to point out the price issues. Sure the orders placed will now get canceled. Why not just order and then dispute with them after shipping or your credit card company.

that just dont seem to be a good practice?? you order it knowing the price is not right and plan ahead to dispute to get an adjustment?? do you then mail the product back if Parts.com do not want to comply and pay shipping to send it back?? everybody here use Parts.com and they have been a standup company, i hope this all turns out well and nobody gets their orders canceled. its difficult somehow for companies to refund a portion of the sale, they rather refund the whole amount and get your permission to charge the "corrected" amount and then this "credit" dont show up on your statement for what....a month or at the end of billing cycle. for all of you that have ordered already, i hope you all get the product with the correction and money refunded. i sincerely hope my email to them do not make them "cancel" all orders, as a matter of fact, i emailed them so they can correct it and more people can purchase and take advantage of this great "sale" as advertised on their website! i would think that Parts.com would honor their "mistake" if indeed it is one and if not, i just dont see how they can cancel orders and lose not only this business but future business for items that they no longer want and could not sell anyway???? now that really is not good practice! i will post their reply to my email. thanks.

i got the same reply back about the jackets. mb no longer have them. did not get an explanation why the price difference and on the follow-up email, why would the product still be listed if "not available". did not get an answer to that question either. sorry guys!
