Just found a set of C63 mufflers for my car. They are being shipped and the seller needs to cut the pipe from the rest of the exhaust. How much pipe is necessary for install? Is 12" enough or is that too short?
For those of you who've done this please let me know!
I had that exact exhaust lined up to purchase but passed on it from down under. I had emailed the seller and wanted to it about 8" after the canister weld/inlet
Here is a pic of my c63 mufflers mated to my super sprint mid section.I have done so many exh setups on my car and my current setup is freaking amazing.I will save you the trouble and let you know what I did and run.
Kleemann headers with main cats removed
Stock h pipe with secondary cats in place (keep the low end)
Supersprint mid section with supersprint resonator
C63 mufflers
Your car will sound perfect and won't sound like a 80s american muscle car.
