Anyone swapped xenon lights on already equipped halogen 211 E55?

Anyone swapped xenon lights on already equipped halogen 211 E55?
I'm looking to replace my halogen headlights with xenons on my 04' E55.

some slow@$$diesels
can be done as long as you have MB set the xenon setting of the car's ECU to present.

I got a quote of around $1,300.

I have a set of Xenons ready to be installed next week in my '04 E55. I got a set of Philips ballast/bulbs and will let you know how it goes. I am having this done by a local MB tuner here in Ft. Lauderdale since MB refuses to do it. I will let you know the outcome.

So, are you going to do a retrofit kit using your existing Halogen headlamps with a Xenon bulb fitted into the H7 socket? I have read that this will result in mixed results and an incorrect beam pattern. You should opt for the complete OEM Xenon units. Good Luck.

I will give it a try....I have another '04 coming in April-May to replace my stripped one. I can live with anything for a few months.
