I have been using that 3m product and the scratch removal kit for years... If you get the hang of it ... It's an amazing product

my passenger side light was replaced last year - the motor inside broke so I got a whole new light setup, but the driver side is original and 'was' faded
it was on the car when I polished it - taped it up really good!

I did the headlights on the diesel back in June. Sealed the with this Blue Magic headlight sealer. Still looks new.

Thanks!
I was honestly surprised! After doing the 500-grit paper, I thought I was going to die - my mother-in-law came over and said "OMG that looks horrible!"... fortunately it's just part of the process
it's seriously worth the $14, or if you have sandpaper and clearcoat handy you could probably do this for under $10 with the right stuff

I have 3M UV clear UV film on my E63 headlights. Not the best "headlight" picture but it'll do.

Thanks very much for that information! :-)
However, i read your blog entry, and i find that there is a clearly noticable difference between those headlights:
The co-drivers side looks much much clearer. Is that the angle of photo or?

Forget all the sprays toad do the laminex film and don't mess them up with crappy spray cans and make them look like crap and blury. Film will protect Them from ever getting how they were and from rocks.. I've had mine on almost 3 years and they look like brand new again and so does the film. My .02 cent my dude
