Thanks. The others I looked at were all around 19k. But this one was close in condition and 4k less. It's going to take a while to learn everything
It's not hard.
Judging by your screen name you probably can turn a wrench
Start by getting a star diagnostic tool (do a search to figure out which member to get that from
Then change ALL THE FLUIDS. Check for rear main seal and valve cover leaks.
Check the motor and trans mounts...probably need changed as the don't last long with our torque.
Do the "sneaky ecu reset" and make sure the boost is not falling off up top..sign of a defective IC pump. But most have been updated at this point.
Lots of fantastic info out there.
Won't be long before you start modding...the power is addictive.
While it has gotten much better in the last couple of years, don't expect LS price points on mods and maintenance.
Congrats OP. Great price.
Also I would expect a 90k car to whoop *** on a 35k car...
Agreed. But I still find it amusing to see the look on the face of mustang drivers when I shoot by them.
Around me these are the guys who continually try to race, with no idea what's comming
a good buy - def a fair price - 04's are running between 15-17K - honestly i think anything over is where owners are trying to push the market and cars sit for sale for a long time.
Nice! Congrats. first things check the intake air temp/ic pump. very important. If and when you do engine and trans mount i recommend installing the w212 E63 trans mount. its solid and it fits right in no modification needed. Have fun.

Yep. The cars aren't getting any younger or newer.
Well went over everything close. The car is bone stock even the air filters. It was a 1 owner car so he didn't do mods. Still hard to believe.. It's a good thing though.
Congrats, awesome price, I just saw a low mileage 04 sell for over 25k on ebay. You did well getting a one owner stock w211, now you are free to make it yours.
Enjoy, it just gets better.

One owner & no mods for 15k is a sweet deal. Congrats. I came from an 05 LS2 GTO and there's no comparison to the Beast. You're going to love it!
