Hey guys, my car started making an odd noise this week, it's a knocking noise coming from the supercharger pulley area. It gets faster when you rev it and doesn't go away even when the car is warm.

I'm not sure if it's a bearing in the pulley, or the tensioner. My car now has 83k miles, so I'm wondering if this is a common problem with them? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Yea we really have to hear the knock to know..

Remove the supercharger belt and see if the sound is still there. takes about 30 seconds to remove.

Again,

Remove the SC belt and see if the sound continued. It could be one of the many pulleys.

Yes, I will tomorrow. I just wanted to see if anyone had an idea as to what it could be.

check the two valves on either side of the pulley. One of mine cracked and made a similar noise

SC bearing has gone bad
