2006 E55 AMG
Please chime in with thoughts re: full brake service.

I am thinking about getting started on replacing all rotors, pads, and fluid.

I have sourced rotors and pads. (are there actually 2006 e55's that only have two pads per caliper?). I'll get the motive power bleeder, with appropriate adapter.
I have STAR to turn off SBC.

Questions are:
Does STAR have a flush program?
What fluid, and how much for a complete flush?
Do the pad wear sensors normally get replaced? How many are on the car?

Thanks.

Dont know about the pads for sure.. I thought all 55's have same brakes -> 4 pads on each front caliper. 2 at back.

Yes star has the flush program, fluid is originaly DOT4+, and yes replace the senors, one in each wheel OR 2 in front and 1 in the back.. cant remember for sure

You don't need the Motive power bleeder if you have STAR.

Replace all wear sensors.

2006 E55 AMG
Allright, so 3 sensors.

Yachtmaster: The diy I read did use a pressurized reservoir in conjunction with Star. Is it enough to just keep the master cylinder filled? (maybe I need to run through a sim in star)

Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, MINI and more!
These DIY Tech Articles should be of some assistance! Look under the "brakes" section.
