E55/E63 Brake Upgrade to S63/S65

Racingbrake is pleased to announce to make this upgrade package available for E55 and E63 owners.

Stock E55/E63:
Front: 360x36
Rear: 330x26

Stock S, CL, CLS 63/65:
Front 390x36
Rear: 360x26

This will be the similar upgrade package we are offering for C63/C63S upgrading to Black Series here:

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...kes-c63-2.html

Advantage/benefit of this upgrade kit:
  • More thermal capacity - better equipped for track racing
  • Looks nicer behind large wheels
  • Can re-use front OE calipers (save money)
  • Retain stock offset
  • Rotors are interchangeable with "S" stock
  • New rear OE calipers (supplied by MB dealers)
  • Stainless steel brake lines
  • Performance street pads included
  • RB light weight two piece rotors; perform better and last longer than stock "S"
Bottom line:
Cost less than a dealer's brake job even if you are just looking for replacing your old brakes.

This kit can be used for E63 both replacement (2010+) and upgrade (03-09):

Costs less than 1/2 of a dealer brake job, or if you are looking to upgrade your 03-09 to BBK like 10+.

Everything stays the same as OE set up, but our brake package will perform much better and last a lot longer than OE or other aftermarket replacement.

E55/E63 Brake Upgrade to S63/S65

Pictures? I've overheated the brakes on my E55 twice. When I eventually need new rotors I'll probably upgrade to something better then.

1- What has been done to prevent this from happening?
2- Are your "racing" brake rotors covered under warranty if you use your car on a "race" track?

Hey RB, does that mean that I can use this kit for my E55 with standard 18 AMG wheels?
Also do you have a kit where I can replace both front and rear calipers?
Whhen I click on https://www.racingbrake.com/Aluminum...its-s/2435.htm, it does not give me the kit woth calipers

Apparently they care not about addressing this issue.? Thus I will not care about using their apparently s hitty, overpriced product.

I guess there lack of response means that they have done nothing about it. Good luck to those that actually race there cars with these rotors.

Anyone with concern of this incident can read the other side of (complete) story here:

http://forums.racingbrake.com/showthread.php?t=1482

Failure was due to customer's retrofit from "re-using his V1 rotor hat to a thicker disc (V2) w/o knowing the V2 rotor offset has changed.
We have hundreds of V2 customers purchased "complete new rotor assembly" w/o any issue.

We can't be held responsible for a customer's own retrofit assembly.

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
I have racing brakes front rotors on my 2004 Audi A4 330mm 6 pot upgrade. LOVE THEM.

whenever it comes time to replace my W211 E63 AMG brakes I will definitely look into racing brake. upsizing would be awesome if at that point I had more power.

smallest wheels that are able to be run on the 390/360mm upgrade are 19's? or 20's?

Looks like 20" wheels are required, but some 19" would fit. Looks like I'll eventually get two piece stock sized rotors, as I don't want bigger rims.

I've had 390mm rotors on my E55 for years and while it has 20" wheels every day, I did try a 19" Kleeman forged 1 piece wheel just for grins and It cleared BARELY. I would probably have put a tiny spacer on the hub first if I planned to run those wheels to anticipate stress deflection in both the suspension and the wheel itself.
If the budget allows I highly recommend the bigger rotors. The calipers are overkill in stock form, upsize the rotors and you get some stopping Gforce like most have never experienced before .
