E55 AMG 211
Set up ideas for modded 211

Hi folks. I was at yet another race day with my 211 AMG yesterday (drag strip). Just could not post a quicker time than 13.00 secs!! I have ran 12.02 secs before but no quicker! It's frustrating as my car has a proven 605hp at the rear wheels. Just cannot seem to put the power down. I know an LSD would greatly help aid traction. Does anyone know of the best tyres to fit to help power delivery and ultimately lower times at drag strip!! Also I would like to maybe modify my engine to run cooler as it runs super hot as expected! Anyone know of any engine oil or supercharger cooling mods to help?? Thank for reading guys! Appreciate it as usual! 👍🏻😜

605HP eh?

There's a wealth of information regarding all of your questions on this very forum. Feel free to use the search function, it's quite helpful.

Either you are spinning the tires all the way to the end of the track, or at this time you actually do not have "605 WHP"

You should post your complete timeslip, and your IAT log.

you to Hate
Do you have a dyno graph that's shows the 605? And a list of mods would help since you are only running stock times.

I'll take you at your word about the 605hp since I've seen Hellcat Challengers run 13's due to lack of traction. 12.02 is what my stock E55 runs on Hoosier drag radials. 13's is what it ran on street tires when the intercooler pump was dead. First check the pump, then get some slicks or drag radials and your 605 hp should put you in the high 10's. (If you spin too much, leave the traction control ON)

E55 AMG
Dyno numbers are only good for relative comparisons in my opinion. The track tells most of the story.

IMO, if you were making "605whp" I'm pretty sure you would know that with that kind of power and street tires you would not be hooking... and let's be realistic I only know of a few members here who have broke the 600whp mark.... So in all honesty I highly doubt you have that much power as you would deff be in the 10s low 11s the least.... I'm also interested in the mod list..

yes, you are getting some skepticism here due to the fact that very few cars are running 600 rwhp..let alone 550rwhp...if you were that highly modified i would think you should've look into cooling already with these cars...meth and/or killer chiller are usually the preferred set ups. So either you modified this car and no tuner told you to start looking at cooling or you bought this car and someone told you its making that much power. we are just curious your mods and how you could go this long without cooling being a blip on the radar...not trying to bash you but enquiring minds want to know.

Based on previous posts, this person has....
  • 180mm CP
  • ECU Tune

And does not have....
  • S/C Pulley
  • Headers
  • Injectors
