Where to buy trunk tank???
Redoing my coolant set up and need a trunk tank. Besides DADS is there any where else to buy a good trunk tank?
Seems like DADS is having trouble. Website isn't working and alot of bad reviews and no delivery of orders popping up on there Facebook page???
Thanks

Or you could just overcharge and not include the stuff. Holy hell, 799$ though, that is a bit steep despite the fact that fittings and everything is included.

I'll just leave this right here for those that want to buy it from the source and save $$$$$.

Hose and fittings are an extra $75-$200 depending on what hose you want to use.

my price is 499 with fittings
so if you do that math from the website e55amgrocket posted 170 for tank 180 for pump and 125 for pump installation in tank plus ship my price is still cheaper

These tanks are larger at 5.6 gal for 170 and 7.6 for 180$ versus ~4 gallons. Rule 2000 model 10A pump is $125 installed, which is the same as yours. Even with the larger model 14A its still only $370 for a 7.6 gallon tank with MASSIVE Rule 3700 pump which is $129 dollars cheaper than yours. If it's the same fittings that I got than they might cost ~$10 from Lowes.

Bit unsure about where this thread has led, seems like a bit of a beat down of a MBWorld vendor. I'm all for (as we say in Australia) "keeping the *******s honest" but on the other hand Shardul helps plenty of members with excellent advice and (I know firsthand) dedicates many hours solving problems and making owners projects come together that you don't see here. And where does it say that with hard work you're not allowed to make money? I thought that was the whole idea of hard work? Especially if you want to play with exotic cars...

That is correct, I couldn't open the thread from three different devices on two separate external IP's yesterday when attempting to respond. So either it was a 'fluke' or the thread was being changed. In either case, the five gallon trunk tank I was promised when I purchased mine was certainly not 5 gallons. I won't even get into the headers I bought for over 2K that looked like they were crafted by a five year old with a "My First Craftsman Light & Sound Toy Welding Torch Set"

We ran them up the passenger side over the suspension, inside the belly pans then through the wheel well. It's fairly tight by the rear suspension and wheel well, but definitely doable.

Why not just use the pump up front (there is no need to install another pump in the tank)....Just get the tank in the trunk and add the lines IMHO...
