Busted Pipe
Does anyone have the part number, most companies show all the rubber hoses. doubt many people replace this one.
Thanks for your help,
The car failed on the dyno at a well know Sydney MB tuner, as it was running very rich and I wanted to confirm output figures, after two runs the failure took place and they had to stop there. They were able to confirm the rich running which will need further investigation once the pulley damage is sorted.
Seems like pulley failures are common place, when they go, they can cause a ton of damage, could have been allot worse for me it seems.
As I purchased the car with all of mods already on, I'd like to validate for sure the pulleys are the same source as I have listed in the spec from the seller (i've had the car for 3wks). Once thats done I can be confident of the source of the pulley, prior to that I may be misinforming you guys. Needless to say its a modded pulley as is the crank.
Thanks,

The pulley is an UPD purchased from a supplier in June 2013.
The car was running rich and was/is at a reputable garage at the time of the failure. They did get some data before the SC pulley let go.
In the carnage that ensued the below damage took place, this what's been spotted so far.
Engine Cover has a large hole in it
Thermostat Housing has a hole in it
Upper Idler Pulley has a chunk taken out of it
SC Belt has a tear in it
Hard SC coolant line has a significant dent in it
I don't understand how something so integral lasted less than two years

Who makes a pulley that does not do this?
Apparently the old versions had a "low" tendency to turn into weed wackers when either the rivets or the steel spring fingers let go
Their new pulleys have hopefully overcame this issue, having their 77mm clutched pulley I can only hope so
Send latemodel21 a PM and get a supercharger pulley scattersheild, that should limit any future damage if it reoccurs

Like your wheels and the yellow caliper showing through.
