Ran my blown C6 with the E55 tonight
Finally lined these two beasts up tonight with me driving the E55.
Ran from 50, E55 in 2nd and he dropped the C6 to 3rd (6 speed). Three honks and even hit. I pulled maybe a car initially. He regained half a car by 120 MPH. Didnt seem like it was pulling any more but who knows. Vette should have been in 2nd gear which explains initial jump.
Second run was from a stop. Not quite even start. Jumped a couple cars right away and then Vette held its ground until about 70-80.
All in all I was pretty impressed by both cars. The C6 has a slipping belt dropping boost from 7 PSI to only 5 PSI at upper RPMS. Need to fix that badly. Plus it really should be pushing 9 PSI to reach its potential. New pulley in its future. Oh and the C6 is an LS2 with ported heads and mild blower cam. Maggie 112 blower which are all about the low end and produce tons of heat. Previous owner said it dynoed about 500 WHP with its current pulley and 560 with smaller pulley.
Didnt expect it to be such an even match. Will try and get videos next time.

That dude with the blown C6 should hang his head in shame.
A C6 with nothing other than a $6,000 East Coast Novi 1500 Supercharger or A&A Corvette Vortech Supercharger can easily make 600RWHP and run low 10s all day long.

The Vette Doctors on Long Island are only one of many Vette performance shops that have been building these for over a decade.

Well its my C6 lol........ It has a maggie 112. Its the LS2 not LS3 motor. As mentioned it has a slipping belt losing 2 PSI which is about 40-50 WHP on that motor. Also it is only running 7 PSI max with present pulley. Can safely run 10 PSI adding an additional 60+ WHP. I dont think even then it will run low 10s but I think mid 10s would be doable. Its a Callaway first gen blower. Not the most efficient but super responsive for normal day to day driving.
Not like the E55 with these mods is a slouch either.
The E55 still was dead even with the C6 making about exactly what a C6 Zo6 makes. Made me proud =)

His Maggie-C6 LS2 is on par in comparo to his modded E55k.. Esp considering wrong gear & manual trans etc...

Pump your brakes there son... The member above is talking about running his reg Base Model "NON" Z06-C6, that nets 500 whp w/Puffer... ALL the vidz & track data you're quoting is from kats running Blown-C6-Z06 models that nearly make 500 whp bone stock & 600+whp after adding Puffer..

Id really like to have this vette a mid 10 second car minimum. The current Maggie 112 @ 10 PSI would most likely get it it there. Will add boost first and see what I think.

*edit...I re-read your post on that he should have been in 2nd
Why did he start your C6Z in 3rd unless he 2nd gear runs somewhere to ~90mhp if I recall

Yeah he should have. Second time he ever drove it. Did stop initial jump and stayed right next to me up to 120. Outcome might have been the reverse with E55 one car behind him and holding it there if he was in second. 2nd is only good to 81 MPH. 3rd is some crazy number like 130 and its a 6 speed so yeah he didn't start in a good spot for that car.
