I wouldn't. I have spacers that came to me with my car and spacers in general are sort of known to be a potential source of trouble. Long bolts are a long lever arm acting on the hub (you can't get away from that unless your spacers have an interference fit to the bolts) one of which I've had to replace already. Trouble is, I don't want to give up these pretty wheels that came with this car, so I guess I'm stuck with 'em.

I like H&R's spacers. 15mm is nothing. But you will need longer lugs or convert to longer studs. I have 12mm spacers on my BMW wagon with the 500hp/ft lbs of torque and beat the hell out of it around turns. No problems whatsoever. I would never personally run anything thicker than 20mm.

thanks man ... not the first time I ran spacers ... had them on my c63 and e55 before and many other cars ...
I just need to find out where can I get some good 15mm.

What is special about e55 03-06 that it is difficult to find spacers for. I look at all the compatibility charts for the spacers and e55 is not listed anywhere. e63 is but not 03-06 e55. what gives?

Didn't mean to rain on parade, if ya gotta run em run em.. I would trust h& R to machine them properly. As to where to find em i got nuthin, 'cept that iirc racer wholesale had them.

This issue is with the front hubs on our E55's. I found H&R makes spacers specific for the front of our cars. Check the H&R website.

Also interested in what is unique about the e55 front hubs that prevent the use of any 5x112 66.6 hub-centric spacer. I am looking for 5mm spacers to bring et35 wheels back to et30 factory specs.
