Eurocharged and their poor products

Purchased eurocharged equipment.
Product broke after 12000 miles of use and the company is not interested in standing behind their product in any manner.

I haven't asked for anything from them despite $5000 cost of repair to my vehicle.

I had hoped they would at least try to explain the breakage or offer another defective replacement for the first defective part.

"company is not interested...

Have you actually talked with them? What did you buy, who installed it, how did it happen, why do you think it is their fault?

What did you buy? Gotta be a pulley. I can't see anything else causing $5k worth of damage

Supercharger pulley broke into two pieces locking up the supercharger rapidly overheating the cooling system.

I had only 12000 miles on the piecce. now I'm back to the original pulley with 60000 on it.

Exchanged several emails with them and got -we are sorry -thats it.

It was installed originally by my mercedes mechanic.

Car is only driven around town. No hard driving.

That's exactly why I am going with a ASP 1 piece crank pulley. Sorry that eurocharged wont back up their products!

even stock pulleys have been known to fail and explode. That's why everyone should buy the pulley shield from latemodel21 to prevent this type of damage.

it's all about ratios. The aftermarket rate is wayyyyy higher than stock. That's like saying stock cars have been known to blow up so just put a 500 shot of nitrous on it. Same thing

Im not sure if this is a Eurocharged product or just resold through Eurocharged

Not very many vendors would pay for damage on a part that failed after 12k miles and however many years of driving.

So many issues with that upper pulley. Someone even came out with a shield and people continue to purchase them wow. The lower pulley is probably the best way to go imho

exactly. The UPD upper pulley with a shield is probly the safest route. That or you could order a pulley from DTK and attach it to your stock clutch by putting in new rivets and that will have the same reliability as stock (which again stock reliability on that upper pulley isn't great either)

Anything can cause damage. Installing an aftermarket air filter can cause damage. Failure rate is what's important. If it fails so often it warrants a scatter shield I would not put that on my car lol
