Interesting Tires for Sale for Stock 18"s - 285/30/18
Wanted to pass along some good buys for those running stock rims.
Don't want to debate "will they fit stock rims?" as this has been taken around the barn 20 times. They do...
I bought some 285/30/18 Pilot Sport Cups for $350 shipped to my door (brand new with manufacture date of 06/15). From what I have seen they have very good reviews and once hot are very sticky. These are used on lots of high end cars and the new version is "Sport Cup 2's"...

Next, there are BFG g-Force R1 Race Tires. Same size for $339 shipped (quantity 2) Manufacture date of 2012. To me, these look like great d/r's but my sources (SeanO) indicates they are more for road racing. If they would work for the strip they would be a great find for factory set-up!

Just be aware the Pilot Sport Cups have TERRIBLE reviews in the rain (safety first!). Mine is not a daily driver...

Those still seem like a good deal, I think the price shoots up on the 285 due to lack of demand. That or they are an OEM tire for something high end that they know the customer will pay for without complaint.
