Guys I am wiring up my Zeitronix datalogger and id like to run a wire for rpm. Where is the rpm signal wire located? Im guessing in the fusebox but does anyone know which wire it is exactly? (color, number, location, etc). Any help is appreciated!
I'm not exactly sure at the moment but luckily there are 5 connectors so either direction you count you end up at the middle connector so I should have just said middle.
Depending on how much heat it's been exposed to it could have turned a peach color
Btw that's the cam signal which is much cleaner than the tach signal

Just to clarify before I tap it, the one under my finger correct?
looks like it but I see another pink wire in the picture next to the red wire. You can always double check with an ohm meter at the pin on the connector.

Yeah i looked at that one, its a black wire with a pink line on it its not fully pink. Or it might be pink with a black stripe... cant remember. im tapping it tomorrow so ill update if it works out for future reference!
Update: I got it all installed and it looks like thats the right wire but the datalogger is only reading like 200 rpms when its actually at 1000. I did set it to 8 cylinder. Is there something else in the settings I am missing??
Update again! If I tell the zeitronix the car only has 1 cylinder the numbers seem to be correct... Should I just leave it as a 1 cylinder or am I still doing somthing wrong lol

It's supposed to be set to 1 or 2 I forget. You would normally set it to 8 if you were picking up rpm from a coil or injector.

Oh okay yeah it seemed to work when I set it to one. It looks like that setting doesnt effect anything other than rpm so looks like im good then. Thanks again guys for your help!
