thinking of selling my cls55, but have no idea what to get next.
so ive had my w219 for a few years now, have around 71k on her and feel like its time to part ways with her before i rack on even more miles and it depreciates even more. Plus i live in CT where roads are crap, winters can be harsh, etc etc, so awd would be a better option for me as im tired of being stuck driving my jeep in the winters.
with that said, been looking into the x5m, maybe cls550 and or e550, but feel like im going to be disappointed....
my car has full bwk, 83mm pulley, x pipe, resonator delete, trans and ecu tune, and has been driving great as of late, and wondering what will be a comparable car?
obviously the non amg cars would need to be modded to even compare, which is ok with me as i dont think ive ever had anything stock... my budget would be 40-50k absolute max.

IMO if I lived in an area where it snowed, I'd be driving an Audi S/RS. For you, I would suggest the C7 Audi S6 or S7. They are seriously underrated in regards to published hp numbers and with a simple ECU upgrade you can get some big gains. For example go to http://www.goapr.com/products/ecu_up...tfsi_s6s7.html and check out the numbers.
I would seriously look at Audi again if they ever decide to bring a mid-sized wagon (avant) in S/RS trim. I have owned a modified B5 S4 and C5 S6 avant over a span of ten years before picking up the AMG wagon.

My next car will probably be a Porsche 911 carrera S 997 vintage. Totally different, but I've always liked them, sporty and practical.

I almost bought a '13 BMW X5M last month. Have you driven one yet? They are blindingly fast for their size and they're super capable around the corners. With a Velos tune and downpipes, you're talking 700hp and with the AWD and launch mode...you can seriously demolish most anything from stop light to stop light.

so any of the e/cls/s? 550s bi turbo with tunes DP will be as quick as the m113k?
my brother in law owns munich motorsports, all he does is wrench on bmws... i REALLY REALLY wanted to get a x5m but he kinda freaked me out saying that if anything goes on it you are going to paying an arm and a leg for repairs, if i do decide on a x5m it will be certified and extended warranties for the life of the car lol.
As for my cls 55, i have no idea what im going to ask... gonna lose my a$$ regardless lol. what is the going rate now a days?

What's the mileage ? I think from $19K to $21K depend on mileage. My car has 96K and I don't think I can sell more than $18K IMO. My has front lip like new condition and the new LED style tail light, cost about $1500

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
you'll regret it.
if i ever was without my E63 for any reason I'd probably get another one. for the value, there isn't anything out there that delivers the performance, comfort, or enjoyment of the W211 or W219 M113k or M156. NOTHING. we only lack great MPG numbers, but honestly only cars of the last few years have been able to get a 1-5 MPG more with the same or better performance.

I, agree here.
The value is outstanding.
