W211 AMG Discuss the W211 AMG's such as the E55 and the E63

PB5 aka Project B5 long-tubes? Any reviews?

2016 E63s Wagon - CCB & CF package
PB5 aka Project B5 long-tubes? Any reviews?

Someone recomended Project B5 headers to me for our M113K. At a glance, they seem good, 321SS, tig welded and are very attractive for the price. Speaking to one of the guys from PB5, these should be an "driveway DIY" so thats another benefit.

I don't mind spending extra money for quality but if i can get a good product for less, why not?! My only worry is that there are no reviews that i can find...

Does anyone have any experiences with these?

I have a set installed, you get what you pay for. Multiple fitment/rubbing issues for me.

I think I'm going to go with Kleemann's mid-length. Seems to be a happy middle between the low-hanging and expensive long-tubes and the shorties. They won't cause much ground clearance issues, shouldn't be much louder than stock and they make good power. Seems like a good fit for a daily driven car.

your gonna need 8 Exhaust manifold flanges, and u gonna at least 2 V band clamps and weld the rest of the exhaust. Theres a total of 5 sections for clamps and theirs are cheap and whack. They will leak. But their not bad the welds are not scary looking, I'm a firm believer in any LTH setup over shorties. I also spoke to the B5 guy and he said he will warranty cracks, so I'm making sure i save all those emails just in case that day comes lmfaoo but hey 900 is better then 1500 for those obx becker ones that come with no flex pipes.

I can get you our mids for probably cheaper then the kleemanns

Those project b 5 headers are complete junk.As far as the obx goes for ,I have seen 3 sets in front of me,with installs(fitment is spot on) and how they perform and there impressive .

Well ,let me tell you this there a clone of a arh and the gains are 50 whp easy or higher.As far as flex pipes go for ,the slip clamps will give some play and use if you like you can use springs in your exhaust bolts if your worried.

Flex joints at times rob power and one good launch kiss that flex rings good bye and the breads on the rip with heat and movement.
