E55 flexfuel!
If you followed my other thread, you'll see all the fueling mods I've done to be able to safely and effectively run this setup.
Thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...-solution.html
Upgrading from 550cc injectors to 630cc over the weekend, I'll then have a basemap from Tony and a full tank of corn!
Driving to Atlanta to get dyno tuned by Tony on 06/02/2017. Will have 10 gallons of e85 with me, and will be doing back to back comparisons from 93 octane to e85, without adding timing or boost for e85.
Dave and Adam of eurocharged assured me that I will gain quite a bit of power without tuning, and even more with.
Looks like I'm the guinea pig!
The injectors are not included in the kit
Put this into my return line
Moved the ground from this location to the one under it with a ground already connected to it
Still playing around with where to mount box

Well, I won't be adding timing, or running higher boost than what I am. Atleast not for this test and any time soon.
E85 is at the pump in walking distance to my home, so I would love to use it on the regular, and not have to change my tune.

Super stoked for this man
I have my Zeitronix ZT-2 box in the ECU sealed box, it's worth a gander to clean up your ever filling engine bay lol
Are they EV1 connectors or EV14? Just curious what comes as far as wiring. It would be awesome if I could ditch my adapters lol

Dave makes them to fit whatever you need. I have ev1 to ev14. No adapters anymore as this harness replaces them.
Also, you can have them hooked up and unplug the box and still be fine, they're straight through.
The ecu never sees the flex system, it simply adds enough fuel to equal the same amount of fuel to match X amount of air.
So it increases the injector pulse to supply more fuel for e85 as you need more when using it over 93. So you will need the flex kit, because it allows you to change back and forth between e85 and 93 without adjusting your 93 tune
Purely lambda based flex fuel tuning is not ideal as target lambda will vary across fuel types. I usually like to see .8505 - .8705 for pump and .7145 - .8600 for 85% ethanol.

i found Another interesting flexfuelsystem in Europé(Finland) it use an external tempsensor to aid coldstarts, priced at 449€($500)

Maybe Dave will chime in and confirm
Thanks
Dave
The box is just there to do the math. It tells the injectors how much more they need to stay open on top of the 93 tune, to compensate for the ethanol
