CLA Sport Seat retrofit
Anyone know if it's possible to retrofit a CLA seat into the W211s? I really like the way the look and feel, and my seats are a bit beat up tbh.

Anything is possible if you put your mind to it little buddy!
Really, I have no idea and haven't seen any threads about doing it in here. It'd be interesting to know if they'd work though.

I would think so long as the dimension would be a main concern, the "butt" or base of the seat would be easy so long as the dimensions were the same. The two metal holding tabs would be really easy to replicate or remove and install from the other seats
The backs, that is another question, I would think the same though, if they are the same size/or close you should be able to make them work IMHO

I like the perforated leather, it's good for farting.
What I don't like about this car is the position of the steering wheel. I feel like I'm in a Toyota.
My CLK had that racecar feel to it, high center console to lean on like a gangster and a steering wheel that was as high as my face when I lean the seat back. Really sporty feel like I'm in a F1 car.

It can be done, but the big issue is the controllers as previously mentioned. How will the controller connect to the new seats, are the new seats even compatible. I'm sure that some good indy shop can make it happen for you. The other issues maybe the height of the new seats, as the CLA seats sit lower in the car than the E55. Personally I would have my seats re-skinned, I'm sure that Mercedes-AMG sell the leather skins.
