White smoke maybe condensation from exhaust tips?
Hey guys, yesterday after a 70 mile trip I turned the car off for about an hour ( it was 54 degrees) and when I turned it back on the car was smoking from the back, white smoke not black or blue. It was thin I believe. The car did smell of fuel a bit but I’m not sure if this is because I have headers and no primaries nor resonator. It was smoking a fair amount and when I revved it, it continued to smoke a bit then went away after driving it. I checked the back when I noticed the smoke and did see some water in the tips. The car runs fine and I did a couple WOT pulls to see if it was not running properly and it wasn fine. Any ideas???

Sounds like condensation and a cool day and nothing more. Check your oil for coolant contamination just to be safe, and wipe the oil cap clean ignoring any moisture that’s there. Probably don't see 54 degrees in So Cal that often lol. Hope that’s all it is.

I mean its possible but a "fair" amount of any smoke is not normal at all especially after the car has been warmed up here in Utah we get cold weather heck its in the 40s today and my car has a small wisp of condensation steam but never a fair amount of smoke.
Id take the plugs out and do some more in depth looking ,... could be something more serious .... could be nothing. But is it worth an engine, could be the start of a bad head gasket and I have seen many that show no signs of oil in coolant and vice versa. It would just suck a lil bit out here and there and then suddenly BOOM had these people paid closer attention they could have seen the tale tale signs like coolant burning on a plug.
Fingers crossed for ya that its just a simple nothing but nothing wrong with taking a closer look just to make sure your ok

I get a fair amount of white smoke from the exhaust, it is definitely temperature related. Goes away when warmed up. Nothing in summer but even at 15 C in winter I will be quietly smoking away at the intersection and may be only 1-3 other cars doing the same.
