Who got their car for MSRP?
Just wondering who got their car for MSRP, and if you did, how were you able to get it at MSRP? How long ago did you put down a deposit, etc..?

why pay sticker .....
when you can pay less! The car is not so hot as to pull over sticker or sticker anymore. The rush is over. Not to say that it is a bad car but I have gotten 4 calls this month from cars that "became available" and almost all were at sticker or 500-1000 below sticker. And as the 05's get closer to the port watch -04's go for even less!
As for a deposit...it is pointless. They can not legally cash the check (at least in cali) so its just a formality to show you are interested. With a deposit you are more than welcome to just walk away from the deal once the car shows up. Many places try to tell you otherwise but its 100% illegal in California.

I called the dealer Jan 04 and got a new car 2 weeks later for MSRP. They were asking 5 to 10k over for the used ones.

MSRP. 1K deposit. Could have got one quickly if I was willing to accept something off hte lot. But I ordered mine and had to join hte queue. I think there was two persons ahead of me.
