Star lowering camber wear?
What is the safest ride height in regards to tire wear. Trying to avoid the crash bolts. Is it true 1 inch drop all around will work without mb crash bolts. i just don't wanna have issues trying to get it aligned.

With my own star and done the lowering etc, most I would 1 inch which is pretty much the most you can go without dev mode, that dev can make to the floor but your killing your bags faster and super out of wack camber wear.Stay within 1 inch and your wear will be fine ..

Front control arms: set them for positive 3.1 degrees. Lowest factory recommended height but at still at the edge of acceptable so long as the sensor voltage falls within the acceptable range.
Rear axle shafts: negative 1.5 degrees. Lowest factory recommended height but still at the edge of acceptance so long as the sensor voltage falls within the acceptable range.
Don't believe the crash bolts will work; recent post showed the W211 does not have a front subframe similar to the W210 so the crash bolts do nothing. Bushings, ball joints, suspension calibration is everything with a W211.

Your buddy Lucas does STAR lowering now with dev mode - doesn't he? He said he got pretty good at it.

Thanks ,I’ll ask him ...He’s good with that thing !I need to ask him More to be sure, I think the settings for dev if he did it yet and on the Inclination were to keep camber in spec .Yea ,I saw some cars he did ,there were perfect !

I think he asked you about my car - was one Bruce @ TTM did. First to get the ARH headers. Or maybe it was someone else, not sure. He didn't specify really.

Yeah steve, im gonna pair it with the module so i don't need more then 1 inch. I know 0.5 inches is a big safe zone but i would really love to go 1 inch but if urs has it then i believe it, also i know from audi's a 1 inch drop wouldn't have camber wear but idk with this airmatic lol has a mind of its own

Those are the actual measurements from the control arms and rear axles as measured with an inclinometer. If voltages are within range (eg, 2.2 to 3 volts for the rear sensor), just enter those values into STAR. When you go into the airmatic calibration, the screens will show you the acceptable ranges.

You can swing around 1.25 of you tinker and shake the car around a bit but at times if you picky and i know you like your things exact, then going to low won't fully give perfect mm when measured corner to conrer...Around 1.1 would be the max for a fully even look around on star unless you mess with dev mod which imo might be to low for you taste.Star imo gives a perfect drop with no gaps and won't strain your bags at the same time.

It's been awhile now, but I had my 07 E63 lowered with Star, and would like it to be a little bit lower. Unfortunately, I have the occasional scrapping of my CF front lip, so taking it even lower is not an option.
I have to be cautious of my CF Lip, and raise the nose when I know that it might scrap. I receive a lot of praises from various people on how good a 10 year old car looks.
What is up with this inverted photo? I can't seem to figure this one out. As the attachment was orientated correctly, but now is upside down.
