M113K w/factory 6-spd?
Ebay listing
Is this really what a Mercedes 6-speed looks like? I don't know what I'm looking at, but that seems like an awful wimpy gearbox to be mated to a M113k. Item description says its super rare, but the price doesn't seem to reflect that.
Can anyone shed some light? I'm just curious, not looking to buy.

I like that it says it's the only one in the world but they have 2 available.
FWIW, there's a guy that lives by me that was doing an M113 swap (out of a W210 E55) into a C class I believe and he was using a 6 speed out of a Chrysler Crossfire. I don't know if he ever finished the project.

It's a manual 6-speed trans off a M112 (240/320 engine) bolted to the M113K. Just because it has the same bolt pattern, doesn't mean it works though.

lol. Pretty sure I've seen that nice manual shifter pic on this forum before. I almost think it's one of the guys in this thread! Steering wheel is on the wrong side though. Factory goof I guess.

Agreed, nothing but respect for the caliber of work Alex is putting in. One of the few people carrying the snobby MB team where people are reluctant to change their own oil. Game recognize game!

Guys, thank you for the kind words. I keep this community responsible for my inspiration. As with any project, nothing is ever straight forward or easy but I'm getting there. As for the power, I will be very surprised if it goes over 700whp as I will have to redo my cooling to cope with the heat. I'm sorry, I'm not up for making another build thread so feel free to check out the pics and drop me a message if you have any questions.

I read through you’re build Alex. Top knotch work for sure. I doubt there has been any mods that caliber here for sometime. If ever.

That's the 6 speed found in Crossfires and SLK320s. as well as some C-class cars I believe. I just finished gathering the "kit" from a crossfire for my R170 M113 V8 build. There are some Crossfire V8's with the swap, as well as an M113K R170 somewhere in Europe.
