Finally got me one!
I finally got a black E55. After months of searching I found a really clean one. The paint and body is in great condition, I mean super clean! That was my main goal. The interior is in good condition as well, with the minor wear and tear. Now what do you guys think should be my first mod? Any suggestion, trying to be conservative with it

Midlength headerz from kleemans or eurocharged! Get them put in as part of your maintenance, engine mounts and trans mounts need replacing on a pot of these carz. Get a new intercool pump bosch 010.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Clear corners and the mounts sound great! I think I’m going to hold off on any performance for the moment but exhaust and headers would prob be my first upgrades!

I don't know of any that have the CARB / EO numbers that would make them legal here. You'd really just need to find a shop that will look the other way when it comes to the visual. That's easier said than done though.

I think that the hood ornament gives the car character, and I still have mine in place.

The only reason that Mercedes did away with the hood ornaments altogether, was for safety. In case of a collision with pedestrians, it reduces a chance of significant injuries caused by someone hitting the the three pointed star, and possibly impaling themselves.

So I think I’m going to keep the good ornament lol.. i actually think it looks nice from far but I don’t love seeing it on top while I drive. My girl said to take it off too lol .. anyways finally washed it so I had to take some pics.. I need to replace the front ball joint and front rotors.. should I try to tackle them myself??
