Random dude asked me to pull over cause he loved the car!
asked me all about it and was baffled how “awesome” it looked. Offered me $14500 on the spot! Good offer but no way, these wheels were hard to come buy and too much time was put into it lol
Boost of confidence 😁😂

Not long ago, I had someone approach me about my car. He asked a lot of questions, and it's funny people always want to know, how much hp & ft./lbs
They can't believe it's a 6.3 liter, I had a few small mods done to her; injectors, crank pulley, headers, Carbonio CF intake & engine cover along with the tune.
Also the CF Front splitter, CF rear diffuser and wheels. I was surprised but he made me an offer, but I had to turn him down as well. I can't sell my baby
I've put too much money into her to recoup. That's the thing with car, you'll never get back the money that you put into it.
Unless you find someone else as passionate about your car, as you are.

I kid you not he was begging me to give him an offer. He literally fell in love and knew a lot. But I can’t dude legit it’s my baby, first amg and I plan to keep it for a while
I know the feeling This guy offered me $26.500 for mine, and I said no thank you. If he had offered me $32K then yes. That only other car, that I would want is a 08 CLK 63 Black Series.
And that would be a good down payment on one

same! I wanted to sell my e55 for a clk and put body kit and mod the **** out of it. But I will once I sell this in the neAr future. When did you get offered
This was last March, while at a Tyson Corner Mall. This guys says to me, that he has been checking out my car. Then he throws numerous questions at me, and I answer them all.
Then I show him the car, inside and out, he loved the CF intake and engine cover, front splitter and rear diffuser. He really liked the stealth radar detector. Then he says would you like to sell it, and I said no, then he says I'l make you a godd offer.
$26,500, I said no, I have a little too much money wrapped up in it already for that price. So the conversation never escalated above that price.
I have to admit, my car has been well maintained. I have tons of receipts for all the work that has been done to it.

that’s a good price. This is what I did to my car today
Looks good for its age. I had my lenses replaced when they started turning yellow, then I had them wrapped in PPF. Once the PPF started getting hard and lost its sheen, I had the PPF removed then had the entire detailed including paint correction.
Then I had the PPF re-applied to the whole front end, CF splitter, lights, mirrors, edge of the doors, and inside the handles.

I just did that so it looks good until Friday for me to replace lens
Damn, if I had someone offer me $26.5k for my E63 I'd sell it in a heart beat. I'd probably take anything over $20k for mine without much second though.

said the same thing lol! Especially when you can buy one with like 80k for $18k

The guy would had to have shoulder surgery after me snatching the money from him so quick at that price.
My car has sentimental value to me, I will not part with it. Also, I don't know if this guy was totally truthful with his offer or not!
oh of course, for the right price I can get a newer car (e55) in white! My fav color for these cars. But this dude was dead serious about buying, I saw it in him. Starts asking me everything, he knew his stuff. Had an e63 2014 that ran 10’s and he was driving a brand new Chevy Tahoe
I kid you not, same exact road just now someone rolled down his window for his black Escalade and asks me what year 03/04 and told me he had the exact same one! He said he loved it better than his s63 and hated it. These cars don’t age!
couple things: if a stranger asks me to pull over, I am NOT..pulling over. LOL. Also, when clearing the headlights? Can save some money on painters tape by....opening the hood/keeping the hood open during the process. LOL

lol I’ll pull over for anyone I like a good laugh even if it’s a robbery haha. But imo I like keeping hood closed. More convenient I guess
had an older man in his mid to late 50's stop 6 car lengths from the turn on the right lane...he was in a pastel blue new Focus ST and shouted out that he loved my car and he used to have one. said he still misses the thing every day.

Hey guys,
I had a silver 2005 E55 AMG with about 45K miles that I sold last fall. Nice car but I did not like the brake by wire. I have been looking at the W211 E63s and found a couple of interesting ones (in Canada). They seem to be a really hard sell as most of them are for sale for 6 to 12 months. Any reason for this? I have been on this forum and I am familiar with the E63 6.2 L engine issues. Is there something else that I am missing? I am not a big fan of older cars but the W211 chassis looks like a classic to me and I like the updates that the E63 did compared to the E55s (brakes being the biggest). I am would like to get the E63, drive it for a year or two and sell it for about the same money just like I did with the E55.

Your thoughts...
Thanks,
Rob.
Its most likely that prospective buyers are shying away from the E63, do to the possible head bolt issues. I've owned three AMG with the M156 engine, and haven't experienced any of these issues.
But it's possible that this car doesn't have it either, but you never know. Also due to the terrible winters in Canada, no one wants to buy a high HP rear drive car, that can only be driven in better weather.
But with the right tires, any car can be driven in the snow.

Are these TSW Bathurst Rims? If so I dig them in that color. I have the gunmetal gray one on my 63.
