Have you checked to make sure the fuel warranty work was done properly? There is an adapter harness needed to reverse polarity of one of the fuel pumps. Mine was not done correctly and I was running off of one pump only. If you look under the rear seat on passenger side there is a cover. Unscrew it and see if there is a 6" adapter harness.

Not much. It's my understanding that the transmission either senses torque or the computers calculate it, and at a certain point, cut power. I don't have any actual knowledge about this, I've just been here long enough to absorb a few things. I think a TCU tune ups the limit, or erases it.
IF... there is a sensor, and IF it's bad, a proper scan might detect it.

DId you notice your traction control light is blinking? IT is spinning the tires. Also it is downshifting into 1st from 3rd and then it cannot shift back up that fast. Just downshift it 1st into the gear you want to launch in. Go get in a stick shift car and downshift from 3rd to 1st and back to 2nd in that time frame.

Usually let off cuz the rpm’s keep climbing as if it were in neutral. I’m thinking of starting a whole new thread because I can’t change the title. It happens at any speed any gear as long as you get to 5000 RPM it falls on its face as if you hit the brakes.

Two things I was told when I bought my 55. Both I thought was a waist of money but did it anyhow.
Data log system and real time gauges in the car..... Fuel Pressure and AFR.
Extremely valuable to have. Second ...STAR system. Armed with these "tools" and this forum you can figure out just about anything with your car.
Your problem may be computer related in that indeed it is "seeing" something it does not like. You need to be linked into the car to figure this out and start from the beginning. I wish you lived closer so I could help you out with this and link in with Star.

OK I’m back from vacation now. I’m the other poster in this thread with the identical problem. What happens is the supercharger completely cuts out at 5000 RPMs. Regardless of what transmission mode you’re in or what gear. This only happens at WOT. If you keep it completely to the floor when this happens it will drive very similar to my E 500 as far as power goes and then it will shift into the next gear and immediately turn the supercharger back on. This is not a wheel speed sensor issue, I’ve verified that with star. My car has a Ron Davis heat exchanger that is split and an aftermarket pump that is working correctly and has no air in the system. My car is currently still at the dealer getting the fuel recall done. I have star but I have to admit I don’t know how to use it very well, maybe someone here can give me some advice on what to check and how to do so. The car pulls incredibly hard and it seems unlikely that it’s a transmission issue however I did notice my K2 clutch fill time is at 12. This almost has to be computer related as it happens Only when the RPMs hit 5000 and it’s at WOT regardless of all other conditions.
