Help Requested: leaking upper lumbar bladder contour seat
Title says it all, but more detail: 2006 E55 with 97k miles. Noticed over the past couple months the lumbar has been inflating on its own. Per my Autel scanner, I have a leak in the lumbar. (Makes sense...air is slowly leaking out, then it hurts a certain threshold and the pump kicks in to refill it). Anyways, I've found a few articles/youtube vids on NON W211 seats, but even with those, Ive not found CLEAR direction on how to remove the bladder from the back with just the rear seat panel removed. I can see the bladder but cant tell how to actually remove it. Anyone done this yet?

Nope... but whats the code? https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
I'd love to have dynamic seats but after seeing the complexity, I'm happy just running the pump when it leaks down![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

dont recall the specific code offhand, but my scanner pulled up just one code for the entire car when I scanned it and it stated something along the lines of "leak detected in drivers seat lumbar". That code matches the symptoms I have/described above. The pump works fine (for now) because its pumping air into the lumbar bladder. But it leaks out within about 10 mins to a point where the pump kicks back in, and refills the bladder.

Could as simple as a bad hose connection. Your going to have to dig in there and see what's happening. If you had a code, we could see what the star say's.

Thanks. I will rescan later this evening and post a screenshot of the code. Meanwhile this is what things look like behind the seat.
