Upgrade?
Hi, I'm a big fan of your work and understand that the M156 found in the C63 is basically is basically a E63 motor on a weak factory tune. My question is for you (or anyone with experience), will I feel money good on the same program on a m156 w211 tune? or are we just making larger C class HP which equates into a factory + meager w211 m156 tune ? With peace and love.
$830 for 100hp is a steal... $830 for 20ish HP (518 or 507 remember 507 vs 518 is just euro measurement) hp E63 w211 is Meh. I'll understand your barks but will personally only (now) and (for ever) have Atsmo engines, so I guess it is more important.
I'd love to upgrade but for me, it's always hp/$.
Is the Eurocharged s/w offering worth it on an W211 E63? Thanks, Ed

The best hp/$ for an N/A W211 E63 is probably E85 flex fuel kit. around $1,500-$2,000 for 30ish WHP. Eurocharged offers this as well.

Thanks for the terrific first hand info. I appreciate it. I'm wondering if my car has already been tuned... It can be 90 degrees out and my tires (275 width PZERO Nero GT) can't handle anything more than a 1/2 throttle stab from a stop w/o TC kicking in. I know these tires aren't Toyo 888 street sweepers, but they are pretty tacky warm. Is there an easy way to see if I already have s/w or is the traction "problem" I described common with all M156 W211? Thanks, Ed

So paid for the pulley last Tuesday and wasn’t informed the pulleys weren’t in stock until after I paid for it. I was told the pulleys would arrive to EC today and ship out but no follow up emails yet? My car has to be up and running by Monday for a long road trip and I am scared to death that eurocharged is going to drop the ball and not get me my pulley in time. You would think that the company would inform me that the pulleys l are out of stock before I pay for it. Hmmm
