The only difference between an E55 and an M5 is that you dont have to grab the E55's ****icles to make it go.

I really want to see how your M5 performs (well, to be exact, HOW YOU PERFORM)....

My friend has an M5.... and I raced him once on track..... he lost... not b/c of his car, but his ability to drive it....

Similarly, I lost from a PROFESSIONAL driver who drove a souped-up civic (At that time, I drove an M3). Can I conclude M3 is a worse handling car than a Civic? Nope.... it's just b/c of the driver.

I agree that M5 is a fast car.... I may agree (like everyone else in this forum - I assume) that M5 has better handling than E55 (really, it depends on people's preference)..... but it's not only about the cars..... it's more about the driver.....

If Schumacher drives an E55, I'll bet you would lose at corners... even if he drives an old E55 (or even an E320) and you drive a 2005 souped-up extremeley modded M5 (with 1000+hp and 1000+tq).

So..... to make long argument short......
1. ARE YOU REALLY WORTHY TO BE AN M5 or E55 DRIVER?
2. CAN YOU REALLY UTILIZE THE M5'S CORNERING ABILITY THAT YOU'VE BEEN BOASTING ABOUT? If not, you're just one of the person who bought an HDTV TV but not subscribe to HD channel. Yet, still boasting that HDTV is a lot better than regular TV.
3. OR ARE YOU JUST SOME BIG FAT MOUTH WHO JUST DRIVE YOUR M5 (IF INDEED ONE) TO A GROCERY STORE AND ONLY DO CORNERING AT 20MPH?

Don't just talk numbers on paper..... talk about real life experience.... GOT MY POINT??

Torque is the joy of performance .... HP is nice when your banging your engine ....

 

Yeah, that really make up my mind....goin to go sell my E55 and buy another E55, like the sig says...speak softly, but bring torque. The beemer left that at home.

 

Its torque at the wheels thats important, thats why HP is often a good guide to use. If the M5 was using its 507HP and the e55 using its 473HP at the same road speed then the M5 is creating more torque at the wheels regardless of what the engine torque is. Its the clever choice of gear ratios and a good useable rpm range.
