E55 amg power gains

Just had My 2005 e55 amg with 68,000kms in the shop for pulley upgrade and custom tune went from 245kw to 292kw . What do you guys reckon is that about normal only mods are pulley upgrade tune and cats removed ??

Well doing the kw to hp conversion looks like your making round 391 rwhp with the tune pulley an cats removed .... if i did my conversion right. If so thats extremely low these cars make over 400 to the wheels stock. What kind of dyno?? Are you sure the intercooler pump working? That would explain such a low number for sure.

i second with the member who said its low, maybe your ic pump is failing you should be closer to 440whp or higher!

83mm eurocharged pulley, original pump, custom tune from torqueperformance

definitely should help, I put down around 500whp with similar mods plus kleeman header, belt wrap and some more cooling mods

I'm in Hamilton, so is kiwibenz. One in whangarei, austingir in Rotorua, pierat in chch and a few others around just off the top of my head. No to belt wrap, I haven't got any issues I am aware of. If I had a smaller pulley I might consider it. I preferred not to add yet another pulley to the system but that's just me.

I might get longtubes, if so I will ask austingir nicely to make me some, he does amazing welding. In NZ it is not worth the money for mids. By the time you import, weld and fit them, you are almost in longtube money.

My mods are listed below, 83mm, 010, PLM etc.

Wow, you have low miles on that beast!! Pulleys (supercharger and idlers), cooling mods , Belt wrap kit, UPD cold air intake, adjustable rear toe and camber arm set, headers .
