(1) I will post pictures of the pulley, header upgrades. Evosport, I believe will post the dyno results.
(2) I believe that the standard E55 exhaust manifold is the same as that for the E500 and looks very restrictive.
(3) The headers added about 30 RWH.
(4) The dyno was using 91 gas and corrected for 'sea level' I believe according to Vadim. The actual measured peak horsepower during the run was 490+ rear wheel.
(5) Cooling still seems to be the limiting factor as recognized and addressed by Stephens and others. On the dyno this is a real problem. I believe that Evosport will be addressing this in the near future with a bolt on solution.
(6) The car literally pins you back when you floor it and it downshifts. I believe the combination of the mods has led to this response.

Here is the dyno from evolution I to evolution II:

Your package is much higher ... 500-540rwhp depending on the dyno and I am sure torque is in the mid/high 500s?

Not true. You need to look at the delta. Stephens is using a different DYNO, which reads higher, and also a much higher octane fuel. This is not to discount what Stephens has done at all, just to add some clarification. We could use uncorrected numbers and add race gas, and we would show another 40-50Hp at the wheels. The only way to compare numbers is same dyno & same conditions. Otherwise, look to the delta to give you the story.

The opposite is true of your dyno comments.
A standard W211 E55 produces between 270-280kw (360-375hp) on the Dynodynamics dyno. Your base readings are approximately 10% higher than ours.
A customers car with boost kit and powerchip ECU upgrade only shows 315-325kw (420-430hp), with cooling kit 350-360kw (470-480hp) and with headers 390-400kw (520-535hp).
Our improvement was from 280kW ton 400kW, an improvement of 120kw (160hp) over stock. These numbers have been repeatable on a number of cars upgraded over the past week.
The dyno used is calibrated to 20% transmission losses. It is also placed in what is known as "shoot out" mode which performs auto correction and no manual intervention of any variables. It was developed in australia to provide consistency in dyno shoot oluts across the country.
All dyno's displayed have been with full corrections and Shell Optimax premium unleaded pump gas readily available at the service station, equivelant to your US 92-93 octane fuel.
We do have a "juiced" up version, with a bigger pulley, new front exhaust system with 1st cats removed etc which has shown 430+kw on the dyno, but this is not representative of real results, as I wouldn't be comfortable using that much boost on a regular basis.

The fact that one can change the load tells me that one can also alter the final results. What happens when you set "transmission loss" to a 30%. Does it give you a higher number at the wheels? I am not saying that you would do it, but on DYNOJET the results are all the same. We can take a car from one DYNOJET to another, and there are 15 of them within 40 miles radius and over 200 in US alone - and get the same results.
We are tuning on CA 91 on purpose as this is the worst gas in the world and out biggest customer base. We can not get 92-93 in CA and the one sold in Australia is not oxygenated either. In other words your HP numbers are not achievable in our, CA/US world.

My post was not designed to undermine your achievements, just to correct a potential misunderstanding.
I think you will find an iimprovement similar to what you have seen so far again with additional cooling capacity, as with upgraded boost, from my experience the cooling capacity is not sufficient for even one dyno run.
BTW what was the original stock dyno reading on the car?

Thanks for the calrification. Both you and Vadim state good points, however, the bottom line for any dyno is still to look at the delta!
Also, FYI, CA 91 = US 89. CA uses a re-formulation that reduces the true octane even further.
