Brooke of course a good tune is needed no doubt but as denroll knows that the hiccup (lean issue) is real and that’s what probably popped his motor years ago too

Just saw the video
thats just the plate
you still need to port and bore out the plenum
thats where the money goes
you can get the plate but all that does is make the 82mm tb be able to screw in, the plenum will only still allow 74mm of air

Do you need to repin the harness? The snout modifications is why these kits are pricey, it isn't the easiest or cheapest of mods.

Mine only cost 600 dollars for everything lol.
The pictures are before I went in with a carbide bit and got every millatithair out of it. The concept is simple I built up weld that tapered out so the inlet, 90mm was the smallest point. Not a plate that was the biggest point to a mediocre whatever. This was done awhile ago I’ll see if I can get some better pics.

Bolt it on and port away. no welding, you can unbolt the throttlebody and go back to stock if you are having issues
or
We will port for you

I am currently running the BBK 90mm throttle body and have been for several thousand miles. I drive my car a lot and have fun in it - no issues at all. I did replace every single gasket, seal and sensor when I pulled the blower. After final assembly, I smoke tested the motor and sorted a few issues that showed themselves. After that, I pressure tested the intake and listened/felt for leaks and fixed a few small leaks here and there. Now it is tight and has no leaks - no issues with the throttle body. No lean codes, no lean hiccups, no wild AFRs, no problems. It took a lot of time though.
