Headers finally installed

Finally had my headers and exhaust done on the car last week. De filippo headers went on with no fitment issues at all they were meant to be longtubes but ended up being more like mid lengths, removed all cats and resonator and replaced with 3” exhaust with x pipe all the way to rear factory mufflers sound is ok have to take it back as I noticed a rattle when button of accelerator, hasn’t thrown any codes or check engine lights either.. won’t be driving it much as i can’t get it tuned as my tuning shop is getting a new dyno put it so can’t do it until the 5th of August which sucks. Also noticed what looks to be a transmission leak( fluid was red in color ) when car was on hoist so will get that looked at before then anyway

Congrats! Come back here once you have more seat of pants or dyno results. Would love to see any pics or vids too.

Good stuff, you will enjoy them. Sometimes they can rub on hard cornering also.

Not too sure about the exhaust setup tho with no cats or resonator and 3” pipe with x pipe to factory mufflers I guess I can only really see what’s happening when I get it on the dyno, hoping I’m not guna lose much because of this setup

You won't lose any power because of the exhaust. You may gain a bit or stay the same. The headers in particular you will gain heaps but if you are meaning to compare with long tubes I guess there might be 10-30whp left on the table.

I'm in Hamilton. I only have mild mods, 83mm pulley, heat exchanger and a tune. I haven't had a dyno but I am guessing somewhere a small amount over 400whp seems to be what those mods can do.

I had the same mods: 83mm pulley, Eurocharged XL heat exchanger, and Eurocharged tune and put down 447rwhp/507rwtq a few weeks ago before I got American Racing Longtubes installed. The dyno is in my build thread in the w219 forum.
