This car has been a demo for only a short time and has only 371 miles on it. They was $79,900, what do you think?

 

PS I am having a hard time finding one of these without waiting months and months. There are only 4 new ones in the Southeast and only one in black/charcoal which is what I want but it is loaded with the pana and solarcells, etc. It's just over $90,000.

Forgive the assumption of a demo. It has not been titled so I assumed it was a demo but could have been a bosses car for a few weeks.

 

i would stay away from a demo. I don't like people driving my cars you dont know what they did and i doubt tey followed proper break in but if your not worried about that then it seems like a pretty good deal. Talk to marcus maybe he can find you a car shortly with the options you want and you can arrange for delivery or pickup depending on where you are located.

I think it's a good deal, even if the car went through the Challenge, it was likely on the oval all day, run at high speed. In Dallas they only ran the E55 on the TMS oval.

If you're leasing the car for 3 to 4 years, you've got all the warranty coverage you need. If you plan to keep the car long term, your risk begins after the warranty.

Make sure the tires and brakes are new and then bid 75.

 

The Nav system is not standard. The price seems awfully close to MSRP. The questions then are: was the car abused and how long can you wait.

For me, I would pass place an order and wait since I do not know if the car was abused in hte challenge.

There were quite a few e55's from the various challenges in dealer lots. Most of them were stickered around 81ish. So 79K for a just about new car is not bad. the bigger question is whether you can wait. The 04 has a much steeper depreciation curve since you're buying it late in the year than an 05. If you're leasing then, its no big deal and no real cost to you. However, if you're buying, waiting 2 months for an 05 is a better option. The same time next year, the 05 is worth close to sticker, whereas the 04 will be lower by about 5-10K.

wow lightning fast aren`t you, well here is the story, car originally sold at bill ussery motors in florida to florida european ( most likely a wholesaler, or used car lot). in april had a control module replaced at ussery and then in june had sbc update, i would talk to the dealer and make sure that this car has never been titled, then ask them if it was ever sold, because it was. most likely what the story is they wholesaled the car to a used car dealer who has a dealers license and does not have to title it, but has to sign the title, and then when the person was done with the car they bought it back, probably because it is very good merchandise. original in service date is 3/26/04. hope this helps you.

 

From it's VIN, seems that it had an odometer reading by FL DMV on 4/14
And it was titled in Pompano Beach, FL on 4/20[edit to correct date]. Title number 0090343058.

well your vin info from what i see is the car was originally delivered to the dealer for stock, set at priority 3 which usually means for inventory, car as registered in mb computer shows clarke as orig owner, car was delivered at rs imports on 6/29, seems like it was owned or is owned, by a very picky person only been for warranty work for minor problems with the exception of the sunroof rails, hope this helps you
