Enough of E55 reviews. Time for E63s to shine!
. but in manual shift mode my car is a lot faster than in sport mode. easily a 30hp difference. I can holeshot on street tires that are normal temperature versus whatever sport mode does.I really regretted at that day about not having my GoPro on. I kinda had a feeling that I had to turn it on when I left the house, but I didn't
Still many more videos to go to give this car a proper coverage
I am talking about 5 things I like about the car. Towards the end of the video I am going for a ride through empty streets of beautiful Boston.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I looked at three E55s before buying E63. Did E55s have folding rear seats? None of the ones I looked at had that option.

My purpose when creating this thread WASN'T to compare E55 and E63. This thread is ABOUT E63. If you like E55s better — great. There are tons of threads and videos on YouTube about E55. Enjoy! But as always, some E55 owners turned this thread into a comparison thread.
I am making videos about E63. I hope we can make comments about E63 and relevant to the content of the videos.
Thank You!!!

Address the factory issues and enjoy.
Don’t touch unless its showing symptoms. You might have seen my head bolt replacement video DIY on my channel. My bolts came out in a good shape. No issues with lifters or adjusters. I probably wasted money and time. But I got the peace of mind— thanks internet for exaggerating the issue
Took it on a 70 mile canyon carving drive yesterday and man do I love this car!
She's just 2 miles from flipping over to 100k miles. I bought it w about 85k and love how this car owns the highway.

Carefully examined my original head bolts and lifters after the fact. Were they about to fail, no. But they weren't exactly brand new, either, and even mild/negligible (in the present) corrosion means it's already on the road to failure.
The problem is that if/when they do fail, we have very little margin of error before the damage goes beyond a head gasket.
At the end of the day, we can maintain things on our schedule or the vehicle's. I prefer the former over the latter, every time. Just my two cents.
