just out a set of S65 two piece rims on my E63. But I’m getting a bad vibration from the sears to the steering wheel. I’m not sure if it’s causers by a bad wheel balance or it’s because of the spacers. Does anyone have this experience before?
The only reason I suspect a bad wheel balance is how big of weights the shop put in and how spread out all them are from each other.
OP: First up...,. If the wheels and spacers are not hub centric it will always shake and will be inclined to throw a wheel away at any time while driving. Pro Tip: Do not use spacers. If the wheel does not fit don't use the wheel. Spacers mean the wheel bolts end up with a side load on them esp during braking. Not good.
Wheels are not bent? Did Elroy at the tire store pay attention to this? (I doubt it!) How about the crappy tires that may not be round/have split cords ect?

Rear spacers are hub centric and the fronts are H&R spacers. I don’t know if the front are hub centric but they are specifically made for how the E63 front hubs are designed. Wheels aren’t bent nor cracked, just got it refinished at the wheel shop. And the tires are brand new PS4’s. I think I’m leaning towards the wheel tech chasing weights and therefore not balancing the wheels correctly. I’m going to try Roadforce balancing and hopefully it fixes the issue.
In the past, I have had new tires mounted and balanced at one shop. Drove the car, got it up to speed only to find vibration. I then had the wheels rebalanced at another shop, so I would take it to a shop that has a road force balancer. And the balance was off, if you wanted to know. And I never went back to the old shop ever again, not that the shop was bad, just the technician, either he wasn’t playing attention or didn’t give a ****.

Just got the Road force balance done and the vibration has decreased by a lot. But... I still feel slight vibrations at 70mph+. Going to remove my spacers and clean the hubs very well. Hopefully it’s not a bigger issue than what I think it is.
Yeah I made the suggestion originally but my post evaporated....not sure what that was about. Those force balancing machines usually have the ability to do that. I had it done once pushing 20 years ago now....yeah the new wheels I bought were out of round. I ended up living with it but I think it chewed up my rear axle bearings over time....long story.
