Replacing m156 injectors on w211 E63 AMG is super easy!!!

m156 haters blame it for injectors stuck open because it has happened to a very small percentage of engines. The recommended service interval is 60K miles. It is super easy to change them. Do it and sleep well. There are many articles online, and for those looking for a video DIY, I made one. Enjoy responsibly

Cool I bought them from Autoplicity. Didn’t know about them before. FCP asks too much.

These are the same haters, pointing fingers at the M156 head bolts. As we both know, only affected a small number of M156 engines. Fuel injectors do go bad, on any engine, not just M156. 🤔

Hey guys,

do I need any new clips or anything besides new zip ties to accomplish the job? I can reuse the clips?

thanks.

You can reuse the clips. Nothing else is needed other than zip ties and new injectors Be very careful with plastic and connectors. They are very brittle as they age. Also, subscribe to see more videos 😎

I'm having a hell of a time getting these injector connectors off. I replaced the injectors already, but need to change the PCV/manifold gaskets. I someone got them out once before for the life of me can't figure out how they come out. Pressing the tab doesn't seem to get them loose. Any help would be great.

Yea that's me. I've actually done this once before. But I remember that I played with them a lot and eventually they came off easily like in your video but I couldn't figure out what I did to get them to actually break free. It's a pain on the back to bend over doing this stuff.
