If you were to buy a different AMG car, among S63, CL63, & CLS63, which one would you buy and why? The model year 2012-2014 is in my mind. The S is WOW but it doesn't make me look any younger. The CL is very classy but it's a 2-door with limit access to rear seats. The CLS looks nice & younger but if you paid around 5k more, you could have a CL or S. Once you have owned an AMG car, it's hard to go back to regular MB :-)

CLS63 but nothing wrong with the plain jane 212 E class either

So you think the CL looks ugly? It looks better in real life. I saw it at Motor Sports Gathering before.

I prefer the S63, as it is luxurious and will stand the test of time. It will still look awesome in 10 years.

The SL63 wouldn’t take much to dail in, like a nice set of wheels, will absolutely change The look of any vehicle.

SL63. The E63 is the perfect size for me to sit in and haul my kids around if need be. The SL63 is the one I'd get if I had no kids.

Thanks. I missed the raise button of the E63 though. Why in the world AMG made rear airmatic suspension but not the front???

I can only assume that they wanted the drivers, to have a more communicative feel in the front end. And a nice soft compliant rear end.
As with my E63, you tend to float, but you don't get that connected feel. I don't know how else to describe it.

I guess I've been with my E63 for too long. I need time to get used to with the CLS. It's a lot stiffer. Without the raise button, I'm kinda hesitate to lower the ride. My driveway is a few inches higher than the road.I can purchase the adjustable links in the rear but in the front, I have to swap out the coil springs.
