To my understanding the hand held tuner is only used to switch between tunes. Renntech still need your ECU to read. That's at lest the info I got from renntech Europe.
Most here run eurocharge and raceiq.
I plan to run kleemann in the future since I live farliy close to their HQ in Denmark. There k2 kit is reasonably priced here.

yes i know what it is already. My question is has anyone used it to tune there car? Because RENNTECH is stating that
with there hand held tune you will get up to 517HP / 552TQ just there tune ONLY.
I wanted to know has anyone experienced there ECU HAND HELD TUNER from renntech?
and
If so, should i get it or should i just get a 83mm pulley for similar power?
Because i am only looking for 530hp-550hp for my e55 at the crank. I would like to install BOLT ON ONLY.

All the tunes only gives about the same power. The renntech handheld is most likely very good but so is eurocharge with my genius handheld tuner for 1/3 of the price.
I think renntech tune only is way to expensive but the few people who bought it here gives good reviews.

While I am a big fan of Eurocharged I have been using OE Tuning for a while now and they are the best price in town.

Renntech Tune 517HP / 552TQ ($1195)
83mm Pulley & Tune +45-50HP 514HP / 561TQ ($795)
77mm Pulley & Tune +70HP 539HP / 565TQ ($875)

if you do a pulley and tune get the cooling mods too. Headers should really be first. Also look at the curve on the dyno sheet not just peak numbers.

I ordered the PLM XL today and it is on back order for 2-3 weeks
damn.Today i got delivered my
1. wrap kit
2. 3 piece idlers.
Now i am looking for..
1. 83mm & tune
2. kleeman headers ( if anyone has a set of used ones, please let me know.)

Check with OE tuning on their price for re-tunes if you get additional or different mods in the future last I checked they were $100 for every ECU retune/remap. I went with raceIQ and have been very pleased.
