My 2007 e63 going into hibernation :(
Hi everyone,
I was extremely lucky enough to find this all original 2007 gem in July with only 60k kms on it. I made some esthetic changes and have enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Unfortunately I had to store it for the Canadian winter so I can't wait for the spring!

Hi, can you pls elaborate on how you are planning on storing it for the winter? battery tender? weekly/ bi weekly engine starts etc?
here is my 07 E63 AMG, bought it last year, it had only 52K miles and 2 owners.

This is what I do:
park it on top of vapour barrier (minimize moisture through concrete)
Oil change
Full tank of gas with stabilizer
battery trickle charger
moth ***** outside (keep the critters out)
dryer sheets inside (keep the critters out)
over inflate the tires
raise the wipers with a cloth (so they don't stick)
plug the exhaust pipes with cloths (keep the critters out)
car cover
I hope this helps.

No reason to start if you keep a battery tender on it. It would be difficult to get all the moisture out of the oil and exhaust so starting only adds wear to the moving parts. In the spring fire it off and let it to fully run, get hot and stay at full temp to get everyting flushed out. Run it to exercise the trans, diff, brakes, fully blow out the exhaust moisture, and everything else.

I live in Ontario Canada as well. Winter time is the best. I throw on my dunlop sport 3ds and haul *** in the snow. Haven't gotten stuck yet. Plus I like turning the traction off in the snow and hearing the sound of the C63 mufflers full blast

Hi , a quick question:
Full tank of gas with stabilizer ------> you add the stabilizer before you full up the tank for gas or after you have filled it up and then add the stabilizer? or it does not matter?
also,
my rear airmatic suspension tends to sag down after 4 days of standing still, so i am also adding 7-8" wodden blocks on all 4 jack points so that the airbags to get squished.

Everything is great, luckily no family members with Covid. Never stopped working during this whole situation. I'm blessed.
Just completed my yearly maintenance on my BMW X5M; Transmission, Transfer Case and Front and Rear Differentials fluids changed.

Thats great! same here.
you still got your E63?
i have to do the same service for my GX460, dealer quoted me $960 for Rear+ Front Diff and transfer case fluid change. ....Valvoline is ready to do all that for $249.

Yes, I still have the E63. I plan on keeping that car for a long time. Besides it's not worth much according to KBB, accept to me or another enthusiasts.
Next year, I have to do a brake flush, transmission service and rear differential. I already purchased all the fluids and trans filter kit.
This is my way of mitigated the expense, instead of letting my shop purchase everything. It's funny, but my shop quoted me about $800 to do just a transmission service on the X5M.
As they would need to purchase the fluids from BMW. Well, I did some research and purchased all the fluids online for a third of the cost that BMW charges. A quart of trans fluid still ran $25.
I picked up the filter kit for $137, that included the filter, oil pan gasket, pan bolts, fill and drain plugs from a BMW dealer in the Midwest.
I ended up paying $520, from the trans, transfer case and both diffs. I used BMW fluids for the tranny, transfer case and Castrol for the diffs.
I know that some shops will not allow you to buy parts and have them install it. My shop does, as long as it factory, as they warranty their services. And will repair any issues that occur if the installation was faulty.
