Race IQ- excellent customer service
I want to share my wonderful experience with Race IQ. I ordered my tune from them and USPS messed up delivery of my package and almost 2 weeks later still no tune.
As you can imagine, like a child waiting for his toy I became anxious and frustrated with USPS. I went to the local USPS twice and no resolution. Was told it was “probably” going back to the vendor.
I called Anthony this morning and he was very generous to send me a new tune.
I just want to throw out a huge shout out to Anthony and again thank you for taking care of your customer.
I highly recommend working with Race IQ. I know most of you have worked with them and feels good that they are in the business to help their customers.

He's great! I've bothered him with emails that were probably too long about tuning and random issues, and although he's a super busy guy he'll give me a call back on my cell to talk things over, something most big places probably wouldn't do unless you were dropping thousands of $ with them.

He honestly made my day because I’ve been waiting over 2 weeks for the tune.
no fault of theirs but USPS. I get it these things happen.
Finding good customer service is hard to come across.
Slider how simple was the flashing process?

Ignore the cd disc and black and white cables.
Put the tune (MOD file) on your desktop, install the software at the bottom of the webpage (https://www.raceiqperformance.us/support/raceiq-flash/), connect your laptop to the car, turn your key to the 2nd position (be sure that it's getting information from the ecu), open the MOD file, and download it.
After it's done downloading, it'll tell you to put the key back in the 1st position for 10 seconds, and then select "done" or "completed." I forget.
I didn't unplug the fan, but I did put a charger on the battery in the trunk. I'm not sure if this is necessary, because the flash file doesn't take very long to download.

Thanks Slider! I appreciate the steps. Seems very easy.
looks like I’ll be getting it on Monday. I also got the Zerocat TCU upgrade.

I've done a few map switches and forgot to unplug the fan last time. Even w/ a charger on the battery, that sucker really gets going and I hustled up to unplug it, best not chance if you have a less than fresh battery as that must suck power. Otherwise yeah, easy as cake 🙂

Thanks GinDistiller! I will remember to disconnect the fan so that it doesn’t put too much pressure on the battery.
Although my battery was replaced last year and recently new Bosch alternator.
I am pleased to hear that it was easy for the two of you. I hope it will be easy for me.

Thanks C32owner. It takes a second to unplug on the CLS55 thank god. I’ve unplugged it a few times when I had to do some work requiring removal of fan.

So I want to give an update that the cable then tune were sent and I installed my pulley and flashed the car and am impressed. I went with 83mm and not bad lol.
Ive done the split cooling with the PLM XL heat exchanger so heat soak won’t be an issue.
I have to get over to my uncles shop to install the BWK and HD belt which should make it more refined.
