Pulley annoyance help

Okay guys I need some help trying to figure this out. Before you watch the video and comment what you think let me explain. I have been trying to figure out which pulley is the one making that sound. It is not one of the drive belt pullies since when I remove the supercharger belt the sound is not there. Here's the thing the supercharger tensioner pulley I replaced, it is replaced on the video (its the black one) but still makes sound so you would think its another pulley. The weird thing when I had the original pulley I put some grease near the bearing and the sound went away almost entirely. I tried to do the same with this one and it just started screeching so loud until I cleaned it up and it just went back to the way you hear in the video. Today I literally just took the belt off and put it back on and it started screeching again. So could it be that they sent me a bad pulley or is it my belt or could it be the supercharger pulley that is somehow affected by what I do to another pulley?

You should be able to identify the culprit with a little squirt of WD40 into the center of the pulley. It will normally make the squeak go away for a few minutes.

Then you found the guilty party! If WD40 affects the sound at all, something is wrong with that bearing.

This happens with the old and new pulley I just received a few days ago, could they have sent me a faulty one?

Sounds like they did. If you remove the belt and spin that pulley by hand, does it make any noise? How long does it spin on its own? A good bearing will only allow the pulley to spin freely for a few revolutions at most if you spin it by hand. If it's loose, noisy, or spins freely for a few seconds, the bearing is bad.

OP-

Highly recommend swapping all your pulleys for the UDP 5-piece set. I did this 5-piece swap when I did the 83mm and belt wrap kit, quiet and everything is brand new. Much more durable and well-built products than the OEM ones - that are well known for bearing failures and pulleys cracking.

Both old and new pulley don't make any noise if I spin by hand, the old one spins really freely and the new one is a little harder to spin. They have already shipped out a replacement so lets hope its that. I just don't understand how I literally just took the belt off and put it back on and the sound changed.

Screams more when I put pressure and less when I remove pressure. Same thing with all 3 pullies 1 old and 2 brand new.

Just curious, what name brand belt do you have on it?

Also have you sprayed anything on the belt? That will sometimes cause the belt to squeal.

I did not spray anything on the belt. I do not know what brand the belt is long story short my "mechanic" told me the belt was the problem so he gave me another one he had there. I just got my old belt back from him which is contech or something like that which I got from fcp, anyways my old belt is a bit longer then the one he gave me. Tomorrow morning I will put my old one back on with the two new pullies I have to try it out.

I have had cheap belts squeal and had some type of lubricant get on a belt that made it squeal so bad that I had to replace the belt.

Just a thought.

put on my original belt from fcp, does not make sound at idle but if you rev it up you can hear it again. I guess ill try a brand new belt but I don't think its that since the sound increases with the pressure on the pulley.

Fixed it. Cleaned the belt with alcohol.

Good to hear. I wondered if it was a messy belt. Glad it worked out for you.

Welp now I have to clean it everyday for it not to making the annoying noise and only works if I clean my old belt which is a little longer then oem even though I bought it on fcp euro. If I clean the oem belt it will start making noise as soon as I give it some gas on drive not idle.

This is with 3 different pullies two which are brand new with the same bearing as oem!
