Who's running what tunes
Thinking about trying a diff tune.
Also, does anyone know what they're hitting for timing on a proper pull?
My obd2->bt logger only polls data every 2 seconds, but reports the same data a few times a second, so it's absolutely useless. I have a cable based logger for my laptop but its being difficult atm. Does anyone have a go-to logging solution, or a good solution for a standalone ECU that integrates nicely? lol.

Eurocharged OTS tune here - tuned for 93 only octane and 83mm upper. Love the tune, conservative and not overly aggressive - makes drivability much better than before tune (the factory clutch engagement was too abrupt, but now that is smoothed out quite a bit and my favorite aspect about the tune). I have gotten custom dyno tunes (previous E55s) with Eurocharged for thousands of miles with no issues.

I use an Innovate Motorsports LM2 and love it. very simple to use and has 4 analog inputs as well as all obd data.
I will also only see 22 degrees max on a long pull. 25-26 would be much better but the ECU is just not having it.
99lightning and I have discussed timing in depth for a long time and have looked for a better solution for this issue of timing.

Same - you and I spoke about this on another thread - the LM2 is just awesome. Much better than any other logger I've used on any of my cars. It's easy to use (just like SICAMG said) and it has all the data you will want - AITs etc.

Flawless from my experience. In terms of performance, it's definitely there and solid. Communication is 10/10 too, and he is very responsive over Facebook messenger, sending voice replies whenever necessary. For the dollar amount, performance, and communication - I don't think it's possible to surpass.

I have EC, RIQ, and DTK (VTECH also but need to finish build before I can speak to it). On the low compression build I was running timing around 21-22° with 91+50/50 meth and maddative octane booster. Without the maddative I would get some minor knock retard. Street around 18° without the maddative.
I had an 82mm TB and found that only the DTK tune wouldn't throw the lean condition/code about half of the folks get with the 82mm. I have a friend that had the VTECH tune and it got rid of the 82mm TB issue for him so I bought it just a few days ago during his black friday sale to have in the back pocket for later. (cant remember what tune he started with). Also only DTK and VTECH seem to be willing to support the bypass valve removal and I wanted to be able to test that out as well.
Everyone was relatively supportive of street tuning though EC and RIQ are charging a decent bit now, for multiple small changes it can add up. I'm not super concerned about being perfectly dialed any more though TBH because I'm running an ECUMaster fuel/ting piggyback that I can fine tune with myself if the box tune is dialed close enough.
