Just Ordered!

Well, I’ll be joining the crowd! I just ordered a desingo graphite E55 with:

Distronic
Parktroinc
Panorama Sunroof
Lighting Package
DVD Command
CD Changer
Hands free comm.
Keyless Go
Power Rear Sunshade
Drive Dynamic Seats
Sirius

If anyone has photos of the designo graphite, please post interior and exterior

heh, I did get TPMS I also wanted the active vent seats but you can’t get them with the dynamic drive seats. I figured that I'll have this car for a bit so I should get all I can.
The designo comes with a straight charcoal interior with the black birds-eye maple they use different leather and it is supposed to be quite impressive (yes I haven't seen it, I got it mainly for the graphite)
Waiting for the build is going to be tough, I am very exited about this car. Prior to this I have been bouncing between BMW and AUDI since I like both luxury and performance but have always had to choose one or the other, now I get both.

Newbie Questions:

1. Are there any warranty friendly mods?
2. Where do you get the flush mount hood badge?
3. How good is the stereo? Had anyone hooked up an iPod or a car mp3 player (omnifi, music keg, phatnoise....)
4. With the TPMS, does that limit what rim / tires you can get for snow tires? (want to have winter rims / tiers ready when the car arrives)

Do a forum search, someone about a year ago posted pics of a graphite E55 and it looked AWESOME. Man, you got a >100k E55. Congrats and post pics when it arrives.

Welcome, and congrats on your order. It's gonna be a beautiful car.

I can comment on two of your questions;

The stereo needs more bass, and you can add just about anything to the head unit.

Also, with the TPMS, as long as you use the TPMS stems, you should be able to use just about any rim/tire combo.

Actually you are wrong on that. I have both dynamic seats and the active ventilated seats. I think my sticker says I have the comfort package, which includes both..even though its not available on the website. and YES my car is an 05.

I'll have to make sure my info isn't flawed and it's not the designo holding me up, but I'll follow up on that tomorrow.

On the Sirius if you go with the trunk antenna install, insist on dealer painting antenna to match, or you will not be happy with the asthetics of the antenna. There seem to be some other options. Search my posts for pics of my antenna about a week ago. Someone mentions an integrated antenna in a rear spoiler which sounds nice.
